Finally, Call to the Sun album by Twiin available digitally.

Hard copy albums are becoming rare. But finally, the album is downloadable digitally on iTunes and CDBaby.

Soulful vocals, unorthodox guitar voicing and spacious syncopation meet with more drive than one might expect from only an acoustic bass, an acoustic guitar and a voice. Influences include Nick Drake and Joao Gilberto, Billie Holiday and The Beatles, Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin.

In 1996, Jonathan Siegel dormed in room 114 of Cornell University's Just About Music (JAM) Program House - by coincidence, David Linhart dormed in the same room one year before. They met after being mistaken for each other regularly, and have since teamed up in several musical projects including The Uplifters. Throughout these years, Jon and David have been developing a two-piece acoustic sound that has grown into Twiin.

In May 2003, Twiin debuted as the opening act for singer/songwriter Jill Sobule at the Colony Cafe in Woodstock, NY. Twiin's set was recorded and aired by WDST Woodstock Radio and that recording has become Twiin's first independent release: Twiin Debut - Live at Colony Cafe.

Call to the Sun is the culmination of the Twiin project, recorded in 2004 in Western Massachusetts.
